Happy Black History Month! Join us throughout the month as we welcome Black science educators and community partners to host science activities, career talks, and research presentations for all guests to enjoy.

Madison Griffin (she/her) is a graduate student at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. As a marine statistician in training, Madison's research involves using math and computer programming to analyze 20 years' worth of data to determine the resiliency of oyster reefs in the Chesapeake Bay. She will be providing an activity on Oyster Data collection where guests can sample different-sized oysters and record their measurements on a large dot plot.
