Delayed Opening Wednesday, January 22

The Virginia Aquarium will open to the public at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 22.

We encourage homeschool families to visit for a day of fun and learning! Choose a self-guided tour, an educational boat tour, or one of our standards-based programs. Onsite programs can be scheduled for at least 10 students within a similar age range.

Special Aquarium Admission Rates for Homeschool Groups

Student | $12 Non-Member (Free for Members)
Adult Chaperone | $18 Non-Member (Free for Members)

Please note that a photo ID, notice of intent, or membership to a homeschool co-op must be presented to obtain the discounted rate for admission.

For self-guided field trips, please call Guest Services at (757) 385-3474, extension 3.
For SOL-based programs & admissions, fill out the SOL-based request form below and you will be contacted to book a date.
Please note: requests for programs must be submitted at least one month before the desired program date to be considered.
