From exploring sea turtle habitats to discovering threats that sea turtles face, each workshop is carefully crafted to align with scout patch requirements and promote environmental stewardship.

Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors Workshop

December 7, 9:00am-2:00pm in the Promenade.

$60 Per Child | $50 Per Member Child. 

Scout workshops are offered exclusively to registered Scouts.

This program provides:

• A behind-the-scenes experience

Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors Workshop

December 8, 9:00am-2:00pm in the Promenade.

$60 Per Child | $50 Per Member Child.

Scout workshops are offered exclusively to registered Scouts.

This program provides:

• Lunch
• The Explorer Sea Turtles patch
• A live animal experience

February 7, 7:00pm - February 8, 8:30am.

$75 Per Child | $50 Per Adult.

Participants must be at least 5 years of age or older. Scout overnights are offered exclusively to registered Scouts and their chaperones.

Snooze under the sea stars on an exciting overnight adventure for scouts at the Virginia Aquarium! This immersive experience offers scouts the opportunity to dive into the wonders of marine life while earning a special Explore Sea Turtles Patch to commemorate their journey. 

This program is designed to foster curiosity, teamwork, and environmental stewardship among scouts. Throughout the overnight stay, participants will engage in a series of hands-on activities, led by experienced aquarium educators and staff. Don’t forget your sleeping bags and sense of adventure. 

Late-night snacks and continental breakfast will be provided. This program provides a Virginia Aquarium Overnight Patch upon completion and includes next-day admission to the Aquarium.
