All spring break camps are sold out. Please email Programs@VirginiaAquarium.com to request to be added to a camp's waitlist.

Add a special day camp experience to your spring break plans this school year. Camps are offered for children ages 4 to 9, and must meet the specified age requirement by the time a camp begins. Birth certificates required for children age 4.

Advanced registration is required. After you have registered, you will receive an email from ePACT Network to fill out paperwork for your child.

Why don’t we see polar bears in Virginia? Where do the whales go during the summer? In this nature-inspired camp, we learn about different habitats around the world and how each one is unique and important to the animals who live there. Learn what makes our world so special and what we can do to protect it.

Time to dig through the mud in search of the slimiest, creepiest, and most misunderstood creatures: bugs! Learn about the importance of insects through games, puzzles, animal encounters, and getting your hands dirty on our Nature Trail.

Learn how the plants and animals who live in Owls Creek support each other to form the beautiful world around us. Collect crabs in the salt marsh, identify plants on the nature trail, and learn about how all aspects of nature work together to support each other.

Super speed, powerful punches, incredible intelligence, confusing camouflage - these might all sound like superpowers, but they’re actually amazing adaptions of REAL animals! Learn how these extraordinary creatures use their superpowers with hands on explorations and even live animal encounters.
