He brings the diverse points of view of a scientist, entrepreneur and CEO, being a leader in the private and non-profit sectors for over thirty years.

His recent book Moving to Higher Ground: Rising Sea Level and the Path Forward goes further, pointing to the profound economic impacts of unprecedented sea level rise and the opportunity to design for a more resilient future.
