Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve bought my camper a ticket. What's the next step?

After your ticket has been purchased, you will receive an invitation via email to our ePACT waiver system. This waiver needs to be filled out no later than one week before your child’s camp start date. Only the people listed on the ePACT waiver will be able to pick up your camper, so please make sure this document stays up to date. This ePACT is good for a full year and applies to all camps they are signed up for.

What do we need to bring for camp?

What you need to bring to camp depends on which camp you are attending. All campers are required to bring a lunch and water bottle. Our full day (9AM-4PM) campers will need to bring two snacks in addition to lunch. Our half day campers (9AM-1PM) will need to bring one snack.

Will my camper be at the Aquarium for the duration of camp?

Our 4-6 year old camps and our 7-9 year old camps stay on site for the duration of camp. Our 9-12 year old camps and Teen camps travel to different locations in our 12-passenger vans (weather dependent).

NOTE: Off-site camps can travel to places as far as an hour and a half away. Please keep this in mind if you have a camper who experiences motion sickness or has any other travel-related concerns.

Where do I drop off and pick up my camper?

Our camps run out of the North and South buildings, so please ask the Programs team for your camp’s individual camp guide for details on where they will be checking in and out for the day. Our off-site camps still meet at one of the two buildings for check-in and check-out before leaving for the day.
Campers will only be released to adults listed on their ePACT waiver who present a valid photo ID.

Our summer plans have changed and we can no longer attend camp. Can I get a refund?

Camps are fully refundable up to two weeks before the camp start date. Afterwards, we are unable to offer a refund.

Will my child be getting wet?

Activities differ between camps; however, packing a change of clothes is highly recommended whether they are going off-site for a collections trip or they are on-site exploring the watershed play area.
