Discover the value of the Eastern Shore's local grass beds, which provides habitat to a variety of juvenile fish and invertebrates. Join our experienced staff as we wade in the shallow water to seine, dip-net fish, and identify invertebrates.
Then, take it slow on a kayak trip to a wharf near Chatham Vineyard, led by local guides from Southeast Expeditions. Learn about the local wildlife while paddling to the winery and experience a property tour and wine tasting upon arrival.
Participants will be transported to the Eastern Shore by van for this experience. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get wet. Bring a change of clothes. All participants must be 21 years old or older. This experience is weather-dependent.
