Scuba santa in the Chesapeake bay Aquarium

Virginia Beach, VA – Jingle all the way to the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center’s holiday event, “Holi-Rays” on December 12 and 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Aquarium is decking the halls and exhibits; for a family-friendly, cheerful holiday event with holiday lights, fun festivities, animal encounters, and a scuba-diving Santa.


Guests are encouraged to join the fun dressed in their holiday sweaters or festive attire. Along with the usual Aquarium residents, including sharks and sea turtles, guests can also meet and take a photo with Santa Claus.


Tickets are $37.95 for adults and $32.95 for youth plus tax. Guests four years old and younger receive free admission but require a ticket reservation. Aquarium members receive 50% off Holi-Rays tickets and can buy early-access tickets on November 10 before they go on sale to the public on November 12.


Admission proceeds go to the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center Foundation to support education programs, conservation initiatives, research, animal care, and the Aquarium’s Stranding Response Program.
