Wildlife Rescue, created by Little Ray’s Exhibitions, will open on June 13 through September 13
Virginia Beach, VA – The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center will open a new changing exhibit on June 13 called Wildlife Rescue: Second Chance at Survival, created by Little Ray’s Exhibitions.
Included with Aquarium admission, this new changing exhibit will feature twelve climbable animal structures, ready to be explored along the Aquarium’s Nature Trail.
Guests can climb the shell of a leatherback sea turtle, stand tall with a bald eagle, and snap photos with a red panda. These life-size and scientifically accurate structures tell the story of how each species recovered from the brink of extinction. Through human protection, these species have been successfully reintroduced to their natural ranges, reinforcing that human actions make a difference in species survival. With multilingual content, guests can learn about the revival stories of the crested gecko, cane toad, snow leopard, burrowing owl, Atlantic sturgeon, and more amazing animals!
Wildlife Rescue is open daily to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until September 13. Climbing on the animal structures and photographing at the exhibit is encouraged! Admission tickets are available to purchase at VirginiaAquarium.com .
